Ely Cathedral

I am the travel guide in this city. Last Saturday a group of clients hire me. They want to see the different churches but I suggest they to saw Ely Cathedral. So tomorrow we went to see the church. They reached the Luton Airport. I already booked the company cab. The cab reached on time. We start our journey early in the morning. We reached our decided place on time. Ely Cathedral was one of the unique churches in England. It was built in 1083 and it was granted cathedral status in 1109. After the attack Norman, Simeon, a kinsman of William the Conqueror, was named Abbot of Ely.

The Simeon began rebuilding the earlier cathedral in 1083. The Norman tower collapsed in the 14th century. He designed a central tower. However, the Cathedral is much more than merely a tower. The Prior's Door carvings in particular are magnificent examples of Norman carvings, and the choir boasts a stunningly rich Gothic carving collection made of wood from this period. Beautiful grassland and meadows that are perfect for walks and icnics surround the Cathedral. At Ely Cathedral, you can explore the many mediaeval monastic buildings, climb the world-famous Octagon or ascend 66 metres to the top of the West Tower, have afternoon tea in the 11th-century undercroft, and visit the stunning Lady Chapel, which is the largest chapel attached to any British cathedral.

Every single day of the year, the Cathedral has three Services .Holy Communion is held at 8 a.m. on weekdays, followed by Evensong or Evening Prayer at 5.30 p.m. Holy Communion is held at 8:15 a.m., Sung Eucharist is held at 10:30 a.m., and Evensong or Evening Prayer is held at 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. The 8.15 am Communion Service on Sundays, as well as Evensong on Sundays and Weekdays, are always conducted in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer. The other Services follow Common Worship's contemporary model of service. The nature of church services varies depending on the season; the great holidays of Easter and Christmas have a joyous atmosphere.

There are popular hotels in Ely right now. They had lovely specious rooms overlooking the beautifully kept courtyard garden. Great location with an affordable budget. The meals were also so delicious and at reasonable prices. The amazing stone works and the wonderful black table. There are so many great things to see. Now we decided to go back because now it was evening. I again booked the company cab. It was a luxury cab. It was neat and clean the cab driver was also neat and clean and well-mannered.
